Usage:             Mixture of sand to achieve the proper texture and workability.  Which causes it to be a                        bit heavier than black dirt.   Seeding lawn, holds moisture to help grass germinate

 

Black Dirt       Regular or Screened:

Usage:             Black, light and airy.  Planting flowers and shrubs.  Allows aeration of the plant’s roots.                          Can be used for seeding lawns, although black dirt dries out faster and requires                                    excessive watering to allow grass to germinate.
